Sauteed Green Beans
Instead of steaming or boiling beans, try sautéing in a little olive oil.
Green beans will turn a vibrant green as they heat up. How el dente you like them is up to you.

Ingredients

(100 gr) green beans, trimmed

olive oil
Salt and pepper
Instructions
In a pasta sized bowl toss the beans and olive oil. Mix well.
Heat a skillet and add the beans.
Lightly salt and pepper the beans while cooking over medium heat.
Cook until the texture you prefer and season if desired. We like el dente, so 5 – 6 minutes is plenty. Others in the family prefer 10 +.
Serve immediately.
Notes
Definitely pair the wine with the main.
