Method
- Dip cheese; both sides in the cornstarch. Smooth over with your fingers if need be.
- In a small non-stick frying pan heat olive oil over medium/high heat.
- Add cheese, fry for 2 minutes and flip. Fry another 1 minute or until golden on both sides.
- Serve immediately with a squeeze of lemon.
- You can eat with bread, but generally it’s eaten as is just with the lemon.
Notes
Fried Cheese pairs very well with a cold Sparkling wine, like Prosecco or an off-dry Riesling.
