Russian Dressing

Russian Dressing is similar to Thousand Island Dressing; however, it is more piquant, with the addition of Chili Sauce rather than Ketchup and liberally uses horseradish, hot sauce and Worcestershire.

Ingredients

½ TBSP (7 gr) red onion, finely diced
½ cup (102 gr) Hellman’s Real Mayonnaise
2 TBSP (34 gr) Heinz Chili Sauce
1 tsp. prepared Horseradish
1 tsp. French’s Gluten Free Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp. Frank’s Hot Sauce
¼ tsp. paprika

Instructions

Finely dice onion and mash into pulp with a mortar and pestle.
Move onion pulp to a small dish and add remaining ingredients. Adjust the heat to your preference by adding less or more horseradish, hot sauce or Worcestershire.
Will keep in the refrigerator covered for up to 2 days.

Notes

The dressing does have a bit of heat and depending on whether you are using it on a salad or a Reuben, the wine will vary depending on the dressings intensity and application.
