This is but one of the many Margarita’s they serve at the Hacienda, a Mexican restaurant at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort, Arizona. This one promptly became Mike’s favorite. This is as close a copy as Mike can get, without traveling back. Use Anejo or any premium Tequila.
Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker half full of crushed ice. Quickly check texts, while letting margarita rest in the shaker.
Shake again.
Pour all ingredients, including ice into a cocktail glass.
Garnish with lime slices if desired.
Notes
We serve Margarita's as a cocktail before dinner. Taco chips, Guacamole and Pico de Gallo are perfect before dinner appetizers (if they aren't on the main course menu!)
