Lemon Yogurt Sauce

This very easy Yogurt Sauce is lightly flavoured with lemon and a perfect base for Harissa Meatballs. The yogurt cools the little bit of heat from the meatballs.

Lemon Yogurt Sauce

This sauce is much more delicate than Tzatziki and takes a fraction of the time.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup (234 gr) plain yogurt
  • 1 TBSP fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp. garlic minced
  • ¼ tsp. salt

Instructions
 

  • Simple, simple, simple! Make earlier in the day and refrigerate or make it just before serving.
  • Mix all sauce ingredients and serve whenever you want.
  • If you are making Gremolata, sprinkle a bit on the sauce if desired.

Notes

As per usual, this is a condiment – not eaten by itself. So pair with what you are serving iti with.
