Tequila and shrimp just seem to go together, whether as appetizers or part of a main course taco bar.  They are super quick to make.  They still taste really nice if you leave the Tequila out when serving to the kids.

This is a southwestern take on Sloppy Joe’s, still spicy but not the traditional style.  The girls (grandchildren) prefer less spice, so we make two batches, one for the adults and one for the kids (recipes below).  Invite some friends over and have some fun.

Buttermilk and fine Sea Salt team up to create a delicious, moist turkey breast.  Buttermilk is not as acidic as lemon or vinegars and it adheres to the meat, making for crispy skin and tender meat.

Tacos may be the most common Mexican street food today!  And there are probably just as many variations – our “go to” Tacos are made with ground beef and homemade Taco Seasoning.  Tacos are perfect for group entertaining!  Everyone helps themselves. Inevitably there is always Pico de Gallo

Guacamole, prior to the 16th Century was made purely from avocado.  It was only a matter of time before the bright flavors in Pico de Gallo appeared with the avocado in Guacamole.
