Tequila and shrimp just seem to go together, whether as appetizers or part of a main course taco bar. They are super quick to make. They still taste really nice if you leave the Tequila out when serving to the kids.
This is a southwestern take on Sloppy Joe’s, still spicy but not the traditional style. The girls (grandchildren) prefer less spice, so we make two batches, one for the adults and one for the kids (recipes below). Invite some friends over and have some fun.
