Pina Colada
Dreaming of a sunny vacation in the middle of winter? Make a Pina Colada and explore the options. One being Puerto Rico where this sweet, ice-cold drink originated. We had no fruit to garnish our drink. It was a last minute decision to make a Pina Colada on a snowy day and dream of summer fun!
Pina Colada
We discovered Real Gourmet Cream of Coconut at our local Calgary Co-op and tried the recipe on the back. Delicious! This recipe does make 2 gimlet glass size drinks of ½ cup each, which seems like plenty enough.
Ingredients
- 1 cup ice
- 3 oz (6 TBSP/45 gr) Real Gourmet Cream of Coconut
- 3 oz (6 TBSP) Del Monte Pineapple Juice
- 1.5 oz 3 TBSP white rum
Instructions
- Place ice in a blender and add remaining ingredients.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into glasses and garnish with fruit, if desired.
- Serve immediately.
