Ciao Bella Winery
“Ciao Bella” – “Hello and Goodbye Beautiful!” Is a fantastic little family operated vineyard in West Kelowna, B.C.
We love Rose wines in the summer and Ciao Bella Winery has some great summer wines.
The bottles have family pictures on the labels. The patriarch and matriarch of the family coming from Italy in the 1950’s.
Make a reservation and sit in their backyard to taste the wines. It’s very different from the big wineries that have full on tasting rooms. And they are really nice as well, but Ciao Bella is more like a picnic setting. The entire experience is delightful. 3 generations work the vineyard and serve the wines.
A Spuntini (Italian Charcuterie), is available, if you want, along with espresso and children’s drinks.
There are 4 wines to taste:
- Pinozannte, an Italian style rose colored Frizzante that opens like a pop bottle.
- Pinot Rose, a fun fruit forward rose, that we often serve with a late Charcuterie lunch.
- Pinot Grigio, crisp and cold; is perfect for the deck as well or seafood pasta in the evening.
- Pinot Nero is the only red wine offered, a medium bodied classic Pinot.
We will visit again this summer and plan to take some friends.
Family fun – you won’t be disappointed.
